Our Feeding Program

Our Feeding Program in partnership with jhcim is dedicated to supporting vulnerable families and individuals within the Komarock community by providing nutritious food and essential supplies. Through the generosity of our partners, members, and well-wishers, Inua WOMEN CBO reaches households facing food insecurity and helps ensure that no one goes to bed hungry. The program also creates opportunities to connect with families, understand their needs, and offer compassionate support. Every food distribution is a step toward building a healthier, stronger, and more caring community.

We are a registered women’s Community Based Organization in Komarock with 50+ active members. We meet monthly and are already running community programs.

OUR IMPACT SO FAR

Even as a new CBO, we are already moving:

1. 30 Women trained in table banking and business skills
2. First Community Cleanup in Komarock – 40 members participated
3. Prayer and Mentorship Fellowship launched – Every 1st Saturday
4. 10 Youth supported through talent and football program
5. Establishing a daycare in Komarock Estate

This is just the beginning.

What We Do:

1. ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT
Table banking, chama savings, and business training to help women start and grow businesses.

2. HEALTH AWARENESS
Health talks, cancer screening drives, menstrual health education, and HIV awareness.

3. SKILLS TRAINING
Beading, catering, tailoring, agribusiness, and digital literacy classes.

4. ADVOCACY
Campaigns against GBV, teenage pregnancy, and drug abuse in Komarock.

5. COMMUNITY SERVICE
Feeding programs, school support for needy children, and community cleaning.

Tree planting drives and waste management campaigns in Komarock.

7. TALENT & SPORTS DEVELOPMENT
Supporting youth talents in football, athletics, drama and arts for talent and unity.

Prayer fellowships, mentorship, marriage enrichment, and faith-based counseling to build strong families and inner resilience.

Working with government, NGOs, churches, and donors to deliver bigger impact.

Joining Fee: Ksh 1,000 one-time
Monthly Contribution: Ksh 200

Benefits: Business training, savings group, health programs, spiritual fellowship, community support

Requirements: Attend 70% of meetings. Nominate a Next of Kin during registration.
